Released in March 2009, Röyksopp's album Junior includes featuring of Swedish artists such as Robyn, The Knife's Karin Dreijer Andersson and Lykke Li. Also featuring in this album is a regular guest on Röyksopp's album, the wonderful Norwegian Anneli Drekker.The first single released from this album was "The Girl and The Robot" (see video) but "Happy Up Here" was originally aired on British radio stations before.
Junior is still in the line of their two previous albums Melody A.M. and The Understanding. My favourite still being Melody A.M., I can definitely say that they grew up stronger than before. Even being called Junior, this album sounds more "mature" than any of them. But wait for it! A new album will be out next year and this one will be called... wait for it... wait for it... Senior!!!!
